Represent Law has obtained £17,192.98 for 5 tenants in a rent repayment order case involving a property in Tower Hamlets council.
The 5 tenants contacted Represent Law about their landlord's failure to return their deposit whereupon a deposit protection claim was discovered. Represent Law also found out that the property was being used as a HMO without a license. Following issuing the Rent Repayment Order in the Property Tribunal, the landlord settled the Rent Repayment Order out of court for £17,192.98 Represent Law has previously settled the tenants' deposit protection claim for £8,837.50 in November.
